Senior Manager/Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Manager serves as Oxford’s single internal IT leader, responsible for managing the organization’s overall technology environment and vendor relationships. This hands-on role oversees direct desktop, onboarding, and A/V support while maintaining the company’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) for infrastructure, security, and escalated support. The IT Manager develops IT strategy, manages budgets, and ensures reliable, secure, and scalable technology across the company.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

Leadership & Vendor Oversight
  • Serve as Oxford’s primary point of contact for all IT operations and vendor relationships.
  • Manage and cultivate the MSP contract, service levels, and escalation processes.
  • Maintain hardware lifecycle plans and oversee procurement.
Operations & Project Oversight
  • Provide hands-on desktop and A/V support, including OLT assistance.
  • Lead onboarding/offboarding and ensure all system access is current.
  • Oversee MSP performance, upgrades, and integration projects.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Security & Continuity
  • Oversee cybersecurity practices, backups, and recovery testing.
  • Manage MFA, password policy enforcement, and employee training.
  • Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
Strategic Planning
  • Develop and maintain annual IT roadmap and budget.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Present IT performance metrics and recommendations to leadership quarterly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including vendor management.
  • Strong background in systems administration, project management, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager and Monday.

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time, frequently operating a computer and other office productivity equipment.
