JOB SUMMARY:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of multiple entity financial records, supporting the month-end close process, and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of multiple entity financial records, supporting the month-end close process, and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting.
JOB DUTIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Own and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all entries.
- Execute full-cycle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and management reports.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data, escalating issues as needed.
- Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing historical data and trend analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, and other business units to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support external audit requests by preparing schedules and documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the close cycle.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or private company setting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting principles.
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Solid analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Perform all job duties with a positive attitude.
